Mogalakwena's website was the first website I designed and developed. This project took about a year from start to finish as I had to start from scratch. The website had to showcase the beauty of the place, the fauna & flora and describe the different businesses in the Mogalakwena Group.

As photography had to be an integral part of the design, I first worked with my camera to highlight the best places of the reserve and give a good impression to the visitors on what they could expect coming to Mogalakwena. Secondly, I worked on the design to give a luminous and fresh look while focussing on the African birds, main theme of Mogalakwena. The website comprises 21 pages with hero headers, illustrations and large descriptions.
The website also aims to illustrate the diversity of birds residing in the reserve. The birds selected are digitally illustrated and appear on the pages of the website. Next to the illustrations, visitors will be able to hear the sound of the specific bird to immerse them more in the African bush. See the project here.
