klein • wenner is a law firm specialising in the practice of business law and with an international reputation. The firm was born from the merger of the firms: KGA Avocats and Wenner.

In 2025, they celebrated the new year with an illustrated video to convey, in a dynamic and quick way, their message of harmony. This 30-second video also needed to be visually understood in the 4 languages the firms operates in.

The theme of the story is the law firm’s commitment to environmental issues. They aim to highlight their work force who supports their clients in the transformation of their businesses towards a sustainable economy.

Storyboard and illustrations

Style frames

I worked closely with the firm to decide on an illustration style with numerous colours and textures and write a script that would highlight the important scenes of the video. Then, I created a detailed storyboard explaining the content of each scene to ensure the illustrations aligned with our storytelling intentions.

Frame-by-frame animation

The video created is a two-dimensional (2D) animation drawn by hand, frame by frame, to create the illusion of movement. Each illustration was drawn individually on Procreate. Montage of the images, addition of music and sound effects were carried out on Procreate Dreams giving life to the story.
